Okay, I’ve seen this a lot. I saw it in Harry Potter, Hunger Games, but never have I seen it more than in the TMI fandom, especially with Jamie being Jace.
Let’s take a moment and think. Jamie was cast as Jace, and I’m pretty sure he was at least somewhat excited about that role. If he goes online right now and looks at the TMI fandom, he’s gonna get a whole lot of “NOOO WHYYYY WAS HE CAST” and “I wish [insert name here] was cast!”
Can you talk about downer? We’re trying to WELCOME him into the TMI fandom, not send him screaming about how mean and close-minded we are.
Plus we’re all judging on looks right now. First off, I wasn’t a huge fan when I saw Jamie was cast but I definitely can see it now. And the more important thing is how he acts, not how he looks. They definitely casted him because he was the most like Jace. Not his looks. And that’s way more important.
So Jamie is Jace. Lily is Clary. Jemima is Isabelle. Let’s welcome them, and just wait in unbearable anticipation for the movie :D
And just think, when they put them all in the dreamiest set ever and they all exude all kinds of Jace-ness and clary-ness and Izzy-ness…you won’t care how they look in some random pictures.
