Yes. Why yes my new phone is now named “the clockwork angel”… :D

Most people are lucky to have found one great love in their life. You have found two.
Just a general Infernal Devices set.
Ah well here’s my hidden talent, calligraphy. I haven’t done it in a while, so here’s some quotes from some of my fav books. They’re attributed in order :)
(They’re def not the best I’ve ever done but hey, just practicing)
-Shadow & Bone (pg 351) by Leigh Bardugo
-Clockwork Princess by Cassie Clare
-Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
Boop! Hey guys! I still need them art requests for anything from Shadowhunter Chronicles/Shadow &Bone/YA novels (go for it, if I have read it then awesome. If not, then at least I have a new book to read :D )
But I also want some quotes or sayings or quips from any of said books (especially CP2) so I can start working on my sharpie-quote book. I’ll post these as I go!
Just an idea of what I do with these quotes:

So let ‘em fly! Fill up my ask box! Go for it! Gooo for itttt :)
Sooo I’ve been getting really into watercolor lately and I want to really work on scenes. So I figured, why not ask my tumblr friends?
Basically, flood my ask box with scenes you think I should draw from any of the Shadowhunter Chronicle books or Shadow & Bone or even other YA books you think I may have read. Just go for it.
Thanks ahead of time :)
Meshing Game of Thrones sigils and Shadowhunter names. Why not?
I can’t have been the first to do this but I’m having fun with this sigil banner generator lol. There’ll be more later :) For now, enjoy these lovelies. I totally made up those mottos. Don’t judge them too hard haha.
Dear Shadowhunters,
I wanted to tell you a little story about the Infernal Devices. Back when I first started writing it, a lot of people told me historical fantasy fiction — historical fiction period, except in romance — didn’t sell, no one would read it, my readers…
I am enormously glad and proud that I was one of those who found Clockwork Angel when it came out and was able to follow the release of the books. I love being able to follow a series as it’s released, and this one was a beautiful journey! As you can tell by my name, I love steampunk and historical fiction along with fantasy so this book series was perfect for me!
The sheer amount of research that Cassie did is so evident in her work, and it is what makes them so breathtaking as books. They have this true Victorian era feel, even in the way they speak and the prose of the book. Cassie 100% deserves every honor and award and much more! :)
Love you Cassie and all your characters too! :D

…is profoundly sad yet full of happy endings and amazingly beautiful. The last chapter or so with the epilogue has been what I’ve been rereading over and over today and thinking about. It’s what squeezes my heart the most and wonder how a book can affect me so much!
