So who agrees that the City of Lost Souls epilogue was 40pages of repeated heartbreak and death?

I re-read it last night and that was all I could think…

What is all the (significant) jewelry in Mortal Instruments, specifically CoLS? I’ve been drawing it all as I saw it, but I feel like I’ve missed some.

I’ve done the family rings for Carstairs, Starkweather, Blackthorn, Herondale, Penhallow, Wayland, Lightwood, Fairchild, and Morgenstern. Also Isabelle’s necklace, Sebastian’s bracelet, the faerie rings, and the Praetor Lupus pendant.

Any I miss? And watch out for the completed sheet of jewelry. I drew so many family rings O.e Next will be weapons :)

CoLS-inspired necklace! Gold angel wing for Jace, black angel wing for Sebastian/Jonathan, and a piece of adamas.

Angel wings were hand-sculpted by me out of polymer clay. Bead is a frosted glass bead, and I also clamped the suede cord into a necklace myself.

Necklace I made for City of Lost Souls. Gold (Jace) and black (Sebastian/Jonathan) angel wings, and a piece of adamas. 

I completely made this by myself. Meaning I hand-sculpted the wings (one at a time too) and hand-painted them, I made the actual necklace/cord it’s on, and I opened all those little jump rings and strung them on by hand. I didn’t, however, make the bead xD

Drawing family rings and other jewelry from CoLS/TMI and ID in general. Also, a new necklace/pendant in process (I’m making)…hint, Sebastian and Jace :)

Again, I ask, any requests for art? I’m already set to draw the…uh…enchantment scene at the end of CoLS but after that, pretty much nothing. Requests would be fantastic!!

“Oh, yeah? Who was Luke Skywalker’s childhood friend?”

“Biggs Darklighter,” Isabelle said immediately, and then hit the table with the flat of her hand. “That is so cheating!” Still, she grinned at him around her cookie.

It’s 2:30AM. I’m pretty sure I just read through CoLS for 6 hours straight. No regrets, whatsoever.

That. Was. Amazing. Like hallelujah, rip-my-heart-out, why-did-it-have-to-end-like-that gloriously awesome. 

I also feel the urge to draw. A lot. And I have like 600 ideas burning through my head now but I should probably sleep so… xD

This is what I’m doing instead of reading CoLS…feel free to pity me. Tomorrow, after tomorrow I can join the leagues of CoLS readers ^.^

Seraph blade pendant. And hey, it glows in the dark :)

I was intrigued by the fact the blade is described as “ice”, and, since I’ve been avoiding studying, made this.

Sorry, I couldn’t get a good picture of it glowing, but it mostly glows at the edges. Better pics soon, hopefully!
