Will Herondale, Clockwork Angel, Cassandra Clare
I honestly just used this as an expression/reference in everyday life. Unintentionally (like I wasn’t intentionally trying to quote the book). It was pretty awesome.
I’ve posted this before but as I’m sadly lacking updates right now so I’m reposting this one since I worked on it for like 4 hours.
Jem Carstairs with the jade fist pendant Will gave him. The pendant has peng you on it, which means “friend.” I thought it was appropriate :) Hand painted calligraphy too, btw. That’s not a font, I hand drew it.
Runes belong to Val Freire, not moi.
Jem’s Father, Burning Bright by Cassandra Clare
Who read Burning Bright? I loved it so much! For those of you who’ve read it, I’ve already begun planning something that may intrigue you :D Watch out for it! Will be released in the next month.
Hey Shadowhunters! :)
I’m starting planning for a secret project that will be completed this summer and hopefully released in late July or August involving the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices.
Here’s the help request (and a hint at what I’m planning): What scenes (or quotes) from any of the Mortal Instruments or Infernal Devices books would you love to see recreated or acted out?
Message me (steampunkshadowhunter) through my ask box (the question mark at the top of my page). Please! As many as you want! I want this project to obviously not only be known but also to be special and connected to all us in the fandom. And seriously, anything. Even the scenes in Prague and Italy…I actually can roll with that.
That was a pretty big hint but don’t take it at face value - it’s not entirely what you think.
Please reblog and spread the word. I really want a lot of input on this!
Thanks so much :)

And though I haven’t really shown them, trust my skills. I wouldn’t be putting this out there unless I had the intention and means to put out something good. Or at least what I hope is good.

“Are you implying that shreds of my reputation remain intact?” Will demanded with mock horror. “Clearly I have been doing something wrong. Or not something wrong, as the case may be.”
He banged on the side of the carriage. “Thomas! We must away at once to the nearest brothel. I seek scandal and low companionship.”

Gotta love Will <3. Clearly, if you can tell, I’ve been re-reading Clockwork Angel :)
